An Israeli court rejected on Friday an appeal against the demolition of a European Union (EU)-funded school in Jub ad-Dib community near Beit Ta’mir village east of Bethlehem.
The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said that the Israeli high court of justice dismissed a new petition it filed to freeze a demolition measure against the school of Tahadi 5 in the community.
The Israeli occupation army had demolished the same school in 2017 before it was rebuilt on a plot of land donated by Palestinian citizens who own legal papers that prove their ownership of the land.
Over a week ago an Israeli court issued a ruling in favor of a military demolition order against the elementary school which is attended by 66 children.
