Member of Hamas’s political bureau Khalil al-Hayya has expressed his belief that the Gaza resistance is likely to engage in a direct confrontation with the Israeli occupation state describing the current situation as an opportunity to revive the Palestinian cause.
In an interview conducted with him by Al Jazeera satellite channel on Sunday Hayya said that the occupation state’s behavior and the extremist and terrorist practices of its government and settlers make the conditions largely ripe for a possible confrontation.
The Hamas official stressed that the Palestinians agree on the need to use all forms of resistance to confront the Israeli government and to move politically to isolate it at the international level.
He affirmed that his Movement along with other resistance factions is capable of curbing the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and strengthening the equations between the resistance and occupation adding the resistance has surprises for the enemy more than ever.
