The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested a Palestinian man at the Israeli-controlled crossing of Beit Hanoun (Erez) on Tuesday evening.
Local activist Abdel Nasser Farwana stated that the citizen Ahmed Mahmoud Abu Awwad was nabbed while on his way back to Gaza after receiving medical treatment at Al-Mutala’ Hospital in the West Bank.
Since the start of the year 15 Palestinians were detained either while crossing the Gaza border fence or at the Beit Hanoun crossing.
