Several Palestinians were injured on Friday afternoon as clashes broke out in different areas in the West Bank after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently suppressed the anti-occupation weekly marches.
In Nablus dozens of Palestinians performed Friday prayer on the outskirts of Jabal Sobeih in Beita town before marching against Israeli settlement expansion.
The IOF attacked the march amid heavy firing of teargas bombs which led to the outbreak of violent clashes. Several Palestinians were injured during the clashes.
Similar clashes also erupted in the nearby Beit Dajan town east of Nablus. Medical aid crews and journalists were targeted by IOF soldiers during the confrontations.
Also in Nablus clashes broke out in Qaryut town after being stormed by a group of settlers under IOF protection.
In Qalqilya clashes erupted in Kafr Qaddum town after the Friday prayer when IOF opened fire at Palestinian anti-settlement protesters.
