Two Israeli soldiers were injured in Huwara town south of Nablus on Saturday after a Palestinian resistance fighter fired live bullets at them and fled the scene.
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that two Israeli soldiers were injured during a shooting attack in Huwara pointing out that one was seriously injured.
The Hamas Movement blessed the shooting operation adding that it posed as a challenge to the Israeli occupation forces.
In a press statement spokesman of Hamas for Occupied Jerusalem Muhammad Hamadeh stressed that “as long as occupation continues resistance will continue in retaliation to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.”
Hamadeh affirmed that the repeated Israeli violations will be met with more resistance activities calling on Palestinian freedom fighters to continue defending their lands against the Israeli aggression.
