Two Palestinian children were injured by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) as clashes broke out in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil on Sunday evening.
Local sources said that the IOF soldiers opened fire at a group of children in Beit Ummar town injuring two of them with rubber-coated metal bullets.
Violent clashes also broke out in Al-Ram town north of Occupied Jerusalem amid heavy firing of teargas and sound bombs. No injuries were reported during the confrontation.
This came as tensions continue to rise across the occupied West Bank. Nearly 90 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli gunfire since the start of this year.
