A Palestinian citizen was arrested on Monday evening after a special Israeli force stormed the Aqbat Jabr refugee camp southwest of the West Bank city of Jericho.
Local sources reported that the Palestinian citizen Wael Al-Maqiti was arrested after his house in the Al-Maqayta neighborhood was encircled.
“The Israeli army fired Energa shell at the encircled house” the sources underlined adding that Al-Maqiti is the father of the two Palestinian martyrs Ra’fat and Ibrahim.
Meanwhile a Palestinian child was injured by the Israeli live bullets in the foot during armed clashes that erupted in the camp following the Israeli raid.
The ambulance vehicles were prevented from reaching the scene according to local sources.
