The Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs has warned that Jewish settler groups are making arrangements for a Passover animal sacrifice inside the Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement on Wednesday the ministry’s Jerusalem Affairs Office affirmed that the Israeli occupation government and settlers seek to achieve malicious goals through their attempts to offer an animal sacrifice in the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards.
Describing the Mosque as a “red line” the Jerusalem Affairs Office underlined that the Palestinian resistance would never allow the occupation state to persist in its violations against Jerusalem and its people.
The Jerusalem Affairs Office urged the Palestinian citizens across the occupied territories to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan.
It also called on the Palestinians at home and abroad to organize massive marches against the Israeli violations at the Aqsa Mosque especially the intents to offer an animal sacrifice in its courtyards during the Jewish Passover holiday.
