Jamil Mezher deputy secretary-general of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has called for escalating the act of resistance against the Israeli occupation state and its settlers.
“Experience has proven that the [resistance] option is the best and effective way to defeat this criminal enemy and force it to leave our land” Mezher said in press remarks on Saturday.
The PFLP official expressed his belief that the growing Israeli aggression and the escalating resistance operations need a clear Palestinian strategy based on popular and national unity and partnership to confront the occupation and its plots.
He called for taking swift steps to build true national unity that leads to the rebuilding of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the formation of a Palestinian national council that groups Palestinians from all spectra.
He also called on the Palestinian Authority to revoke its recognition of the occupation state and the Oslo accords.
