Hamas Movement condemned on Sunday the new Israeli aggression on Syria saying that it reflected the escalating Israeli terrorism in the region.
Hazem Qassem a Hamas spokesman in Gaza expressed his Movement’s solidarity with Syria saying that Israel’s attack is part of its aggression on Palestine Lebanon and the entire region.
“The aggression on Syria necessitates uniting all fronts to confront Israel’s growing violence and to prevent its violations of the Islamic and Christian sanctities” he added.
Israeli warplanes and artillery bombed various areas in Syria at dawn Sunday claiming it was in response to the firing of rockets from that Arab country at the occupied Golan Heights.
