The Hamas Movement has called on the Palestinian citizens to intensify their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to protect it against the Israeli desecration.
In a press statement on Tuesday the Movement said that the calls come as Jewish settlers renew their calls to break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Movement warned the Israeli occupation of the repercussions of attacking Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem calling on the Arab and Muslim countries to assume their responsibility in defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Israeli attacks.
Earlier in the morning 788 Jewish settlers protected by the Israeli police stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque through its Maghariba gate to celebrate the sixth day of the Jewish holiday of the Passover.
