The Hamas Movement has denounced the Israeli building of a suspension bridge in Wadi al-Rababa neighborhood in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan describing it as a “blatant attack on the holy city’s identity.”
In press remarks on Wednesday Hamas spokesman Mohamed Hamada said that this new settler project is part of the Judaization policy pursued by the Israeli occupation authority in Jerusalem.
Hamada affirmed that the feverish Israeli efforts to carry out and expand its settlement projects would be met with more Palestinian steadfastness and resistance.
He urged the international community to take effective action to oblige the Israeli occupation government to stop its settlement and Judaization practices.
