The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Thursday at least 13 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank while resistance fighters opened fire at them in some areas.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped five citizens from the family of al-Jarahid during raids on their homes in al-Auja town in northern Jericho.
The IOF also kidnaped three citizens from Beitin town in eastern Ramallah and four others from Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil.
In Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped one Palestinian citizen.
Meanwhile The IOF intensified its presence in Huwara town south of Nablus and obstructed the movement of Palestinian vehicles near the Huwara checkpoint.
The Israeli occupation army for its part said that its forces arrested last night seven Palestinians from different West Bank areas adding that one of its military units came under fire from a speeding car near Tamun village in southern Tubas.
Other resistance fighters also opened fire at an IOF post on Mount Gerizim in Nablus last night.
On Wednesday evening the IOF stormed areas in the northeast of Jenin set up roadblocks and detained a young man for a while at a checkpoint.
