Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya and secretary general of the National Initiative Mustafa al-Barghouthi have stressed the need to activate the efforts at the regional and international levels to confront and isolate the Israeli occupation state and unveil its true face to the world.
During their meeting in the Qatari capital Doha on Monday Haneyya and Barghouthi discussed the latest political and field developments in the Palestinian arena especially during the holy month of Ramadan and the impacts of the current regional and international situation on the Palestinian cause.
The two Palestinian leaders also discussed the Israeli practices and violations in Occupied Jerusalem and at the Aqsa Mosque the crimes that are committed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and the repercussions of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
They explored avenues of developing a joint national action plan based on confronting the right-wing Israeli government its growing violations against the Palestinian people and its schemes against their land holy sites and rights.
They also highlighted the importance of achieving a field unity in the Palestinian arena mobilizing the Palestinian people’s efforts and capabilities and strengthening their steadfastness to stand strongly in the face of the occupation state and its policies.
