The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) delivered on Tuesday military notices ordering a halt to the construction of several Palestinian homes and buildings in Az-Zawiya town west of Salfit as a prelude to demolishing them later.
Az-Zawiya mayor Mohamed Radad said that the IOF stormed the northeastern area of the town and delivered stop-work orders against 25 homes and structures at the pretext of unlicensed construction and their location in Area C of the West Bank.
He also said that that some of the homes are inhabited and others are under construction adding that one of those structures is the Rahman Mosque which was built six years ago.
