Jerusalemite activist Khadija Khuwais has called for frequenting the Aqsa Mosque’s Bab al-Rahma prayer hall and participating in the efforts to repair what was damaged by the Israeli occupation police.
“Intensifying our presence in the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall and taking care of it with all means are one of our greatest responsibilities” Khuwais said in press remarks on Sunday.
She explained that the Israeli police destroyed on Saturday morning the Bab al-Rahma building’s electrical wiring system damaged its loudspeakers and parts of its hall cut off water to the women’s section and removed the barriers separating male and female worshipers.
She warned that Israeli occupation authority plans to impose its control over the Bab al-Rahma building and prevent Muslim worshipers from performing prayers inside it.
