Muhjat al-Quds rights group has warned of the deteriorating health condition of the prisoner Sheikh Khader Adnan after 79 days of hunger strike.
The institution affirmed that the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) urgently moved Sheikh Adnan from Ramla prison clinic to a civilian hospital within the Green Line.
No further information was given about his health status.
Earlier Sunday an Israeli court rejected a request to release Adnan despite his difficult health condition.
Adnan is on hunger strike for the fifth time in an Israeli prison and has surpassed the duration of all of his previous strikes.
Adnan has been imprisoned at least 12 times since 2004. His last hunger strike had inspired a wave of Palestinian prisoners held in administrative detention to join him.
