American pro-Palestine activists have launched a campaign to demand members of the Congress to pressure the US administration to intervene to prevent the Israeli occupation state from demolishing dozens of Palestinian schools.
An online petition signed by over 5000 American citizens said that Israel had issued demolition orders against 58 Palestinian schools in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Their petition pointed out that the elementary schools of Jubbet ad-Dib in Bethlehem is threatened with demolition no later than May 7 after Jewish settlers extracted a court order in this regard.
