Palestinian prisoner Sheikh Ezeedin al-Amarna has suspended his hunger strike after reaching an agreement with the Israeli prison service (IPS) providing his release next October.
Press sources said that Amarna from Ya’bad in Jenin province has ended his hunger strike after 13 days following agreement with the IPS on his release next October and extending treatment to his son Mujahid.
Amarna a father of five is blind and has been detained several times before in Israeli jails and served almost nine years mostly in administrative detention.
