A leader of the Palestinian Captive Movement in Israeli jails has affirmed that a large number of administrative detainees will participate in the mass hunger strike which was officially announced on Friday morning.
The captive leader told the Palestinian Information Center on condition of anonymity that those administrative detainees are from the Hamas Movement and other factions describing the participants in the hunger strike as “martyrdom seekers.”
He pointed out that the decision to hold this mass hunger strike was taken after the martyrdom of prisoner Khader Adnan a few days ago.
A group of Palestinian administrative detainees announced on Friday their intention to stage an open-ended hunger strike soon to demand an end to their detention with no trial or indictment.
