The Captive Movement has denounced the Israeli claims against three Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) imprisoned leaders as completely false.
In a press statement on Monday the Movement revealed that the Israeli claims that PFLP secretary-general Ahmad Saadat is responsible for directing resistance cells are false adding that such claims aim at providing a cover for the Israeli attacks against the PFLP leaders.
For its part the Supreme National Emergency Committee of the National Captive Movement affirmed that it will remain on high alert to confront the Israeli assault campaigns launched against the PFLP imprisoned leaders.
Meanwhile Shin Bet announced the arrest of “a PFLP terror cell” which is accused of attempting to carry out a bombing attack in March 2023 and planning further attacks in the West Bank.
Earlier in the morning special forces from the Israeli prison service stormed cells in Ramon jail and transferred PFLP leaders Ahmad Saadat Ahid Abu Qais and Walid Hanatsha to an unknown detention center.
