The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished on Wednesday three Palestinian houses in Jericho and re-demolished Al-Tahadi 5 School east of Bethlehem for the second time this week.
Local sources affirmed that Israeli military bulldozers demolished three houses in Al-Dyouk Al-Tahta village west of Jericho.
Local activist Hassan Brijieh also revealed that the IOF demolished Al-Tahadi 5 School for the second time this week and the third since its establishment in the Jubb al-Dib area.
IOF soldiers arrived at dawn at the school site which served 60 students and consisted of five classrooms.
Since 2016 the IOF demolished 11 Palestinian schools many of which were funded by the European Union.
In January a group of United Nations experts had called for action to stop Israel’s “systematic and deliberate” demolition of Palestinian structures.
