A horde of extremist Jewish settlers wreaked havoc on Sunday on many olive and almond trees in Husan village west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
Mohamed Sabbatin one of the landowners said that a number of settlers destroyed about 15 olive trees and 10 almond trees as well as a stone fence and barbed wire on swaths of land belonging to him and his brothers adding that their grove is located in the middle of the illegal settlement of Beitar Illit.
Settler violence against Palestinians is a daily issue in the West Bank. Instead of taking preventive action to combat their crimes the Israeli military and security authorities aid and abet settlers in harming Palestinians and seizing their lands.
