Israeli police on Sunday forced a Jerusalemite citizen to self-demolish a room in his house in Occupied Jerusalem under the pretext of building without construction permit.
Jerusalemite sources reported that the Palestinian citizen Qusai al-Sarkhi was forced to self-demolish a room in his family’s house in Jabal al-Mukabbir in Occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli court had rejected a petition submitted by the family of Sarkhi to freeze the demolition order that was issued two years ago.
In another development clashes were reported between Palestinian youths and Israeli police in Abu Dis town to the east of Occupied Jerusalem.
Meanwhile student activists of Abu Dis campus of Al-Quds University organized a rally in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank city of Nablus.
