The Hamas Movement’s political bureau chairman Ismail Haneyya has stressed that the Palestinian resistance factions had foiled the Israeli plans by staying united while confronting the last Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
In a press statement on Sunday Haneyya hailed the Joint Operations Room (JOR) of the Palestinian resistance factions praising the Al-Quds Brigades the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad for its leading role in confronting the recent Israeli attack.
Haneyya expressed his deep appreciation to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip for their steadfastness during the recent Israeli attack on Gaza affirming that the blood of the martyrs will not go in vain.
He extended his thanks to the Arab and Muslim nations that supported the people of Gaza during the attack and to Egypt Qatar and the United Nations for brokering a ceasefire agreement with the Israeli occupation state.
Israel killed 33 Palestinian citizens including six children and four women and injured 147 during its five-day aggression on the Gaza Strip that started last Tuesday.
