Israeli tanks fired shells into two resistance posts in the Gaza Strip on Sunday evening in violation of a truce agreement that ended days of deadly aggression.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) claimed that the shelling was in response to a rocket launched earlier on Sunday evening from the Gaza Strip.
Israeli tanks “struck two military posts belonging to the Hamas Movement in the northern Gaza Strip” an Israeli military spokesperson said in a statement.
The renewed attack came after Cairo which brokered the ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in Gaza called on all sides to adhere to the agreement.
33 Palestinians were killed during the IOF aggression o n Gaza Strip including six children and four women.
