Taher an-Nunu media advisor to the head of Hamas’s political bureau has affirmed that the Movement’s leadership was following around the clock every moment of the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
In an interview conducted with him by Al-Jazeera satellite channel Nunu said that the Hamas leadership was in permanent session during the Israeli escalation assessing the developments in the field and coordinating with the Islamic Jihad leadership regarding all the details.
The Hamas official underlined that “the Israeli occupation state tried through its resumption of the assassination policy despite the ceasefire understandings in Gaza to create a new equation on the ground but the Palestinian resistance was able to thwart its plan and prove its ability to respond to any Israeli violations and crimes and to impose its own equation.”
“Our people have the right to celebrate what the resistance has achieved and its success in confirming that none of our people can be easy prey for the occupation’s crimes” he said.
“We are aware that on the path of liberation there will always be martyrs and sacrifices but if one of our leaders dies a thousand leaders will succeed him” he added.
