A Palestinian child was injured on Thursday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem.
According to local sources Israeli forces opened fire at a 14-year-old boy as he was standing at the eastern entrance of Aida camp where a popular event was taking place to mark the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe).
The kid suffered bullet injuries in his leg and shoulder and was rushed to a hospital in Beit Jala.
Eyewitnesses said that there were no clashes with the IOF in the area where the shooting incident happened.
