A Palestinian fisherman was injured and another went missing after the Egyptian navy chased their boat off Rafah shores south of the Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.
Local sources affirmed that two Palestinian fishermen were chased by Egyptian naval boats injuring one of them while the other went missing.
On the other hand the Israeli occupation navy opened machine gun fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the Al-Sudaniya area northwest of Gaza City.
The Palestinian fishermen were forced to leave the area and no injuries were reported.
The Israeli navy forced the fishermen to leave the area and return to the beach without any reported injuries among the fishermen.
In a similar attack the Israeli naval forces targeted Palestinian fishermen’s boats off the Khan Yunis and Rafah shores south of the Strip.
