Jewish settlers on Sunday attacked Palestinian shepherds after storming the al-Himma area in the northern Jordan Valley to the east of the West Bank.
Aref Daraghmeh a human rights activist reported that Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian shepherds while they were grazing their livestock in the al-Himma area.
He added that the settlers attacked the Palestinian citizen Mohammad Awwad and his son Hani and pepper-sprayed them.
Jewish settlers who live in more than 21 settlement outposts along the northern Jordan Valley attack Palestinian shepherds on a semi-daily basis preventing them from grazing their livestock.
Palestinian citizens in the northern Jordan Valley which makes up 25% of the area of the West Bank have been subjected to settlers’ attacks and systematic ethnic cleansing plans since 1967.
