The Hamas Movement called on the Palestinian people of the occupied West Bank Jerusalem and 1948-occupied territories to march to the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday.
In a press statement issued Thursday Hamas reiterated that the plans of the Israeli occupation’s fascist government and the extremist Zionist groups to escalate settlement construction and enforce the spatial and temporal division schemes in the Aqsa Mosque came as part of the Israeli religious war.
“Such frenzied endeavors will not succeed in obliterating the Arab and Islamic features and identity of Occupied Jerusalem and changing the facts of history” the statement reads.
The Movement also hailed the Palestinian Jerusalemites who stood steadfast last night in defense of the holy city of Jerusalem and faced off the Israeli occupation’s Judaization plans.
For his part the head of the Jerusalemite Commission for Combating Judaization Nasser Al-Hadmi warned that the Aqsa Mosque is under constant threat.
Speaking to the PIC reporter Al-Hidmi said that the Israeli occupation is working to facilitate the settlers’ presence and entry into the Aqsa.
The Jerusalemites are trying by all possible means to defend the Aqsa despite the increasing Israeli persecution he added.
