The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the old Askar refugee camp east of Nablus and took measurements of two houses belonging to two slain Palestinians at dawn Tuesday.
Local sources reported that the IOF broke into the eastern region of Nablus in large numbers accompanied by two bulldozers and closed the entrances to the old Askar camp.
Israeli snipers were also seen on the roofs of some houses.
The IOF raided the house of the martyr Hassan Qatanani in the camp and took its measurements as a prelude to its demolition.
Similar measures were also taken at the family house of the martyr Hussam Aslim.
The IOF soldiers were confronted by local resistance fighters with homemade explosives.
Similar armed clashes also erupted in Nour Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem after it was stormed by the IOF. A local house was hit by an Israeli shell during the raid.
Israel routinely demolishes the family homes of Palestinians who are involved in anti-occupation attacks a move that has long been decried by human rights organizations as collective punishment.
