A horde of extremist Jewish settlers set up on Sunday a new outpost on swaths of Palestinian-owned land in the south of Deir Ballut west of Salfit in the occupied West Bank.
Deir Ballut mayor Sameer Namer said that dozens of settlers stormed swaths of land in his town belonging to Palestinian citizens from al-Lubban al-Gharbiya town before embarking on pitching tents and placing Israeli flags and signs containing racist slurs.
Last Tuesday armed settlers pitched tents on plots of land belonging to Palestinians in Khirbet Shahada in Deir Istiya town west of Salfit.
More than half a million Jewish settlers live in more than 200 settlements built on Palestinian land which are considered illegal under international laws.
The UN has condemned illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories in multiple resolutions and votes.
