The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Friday issued a demolition order against the home of the family of the detained Jerusalemite minor Mohammed Zalbani.
The family of 13-year-old Zalbani received an IOA notice ordering the demolition of their home in Shufat refugee camp to the north of Jerusalem.
The IOA claims that 13-year-old Zalbani carried out a stabbing attack last February near Shufat military checkpoint. The attack resulted in the death of an Israeli soldier when another Israeli soldier opened fire at Zalbani but accidentally hit his comrade.
Zalbani was injured by Israeli live bullets before he was arrested. His parents and brother were arrested too.
According to Palestine data center “Mu’ti” Israel has demolished 136 Palestinian homes and residential apartments since the beginning of the year ten of which belong to families of Palestinian martyrs or prisoners.
