Member of Hamas’s political bureau Zaher Jabbarin has affirmed that the open-ended hunger strike in Israeli jails which the Palestinian administrative detainees intend to start on June 16 would be “another chapter of the Palestinian people’s battle with the Israeli occupation state.”
In press remarks on Saturday Jabbarin described the administrative detention policy that is used by the occupation state against the Palestinian people as an “organized crime” and a “violation of the international law.”
The Hamas official also said that such policy is part of the systematic Israeli oppression and persecution the Palestinian people are exposed to.
“The number of administrative detainees has exceeded 1083 prisoners and this is a serious indicator that the occupation state went overboard in depriving Palestinian citizens of their freedom” he pointed out.
