The Israeli authorities demolished on Thursday a Palestinian house in Sa’wa village in the Negev desert at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources Israeli bulldozers knocked down a house belonging to the family of Qassasi after police forces cordoned off the area around it.
Two days ago the Israeli authorities displaced Palestinian families after they demolished five houses belonging to al-Ghoul family on the outskirts of Ar’ara village in Negev.
As is the case in the West Bank and Jerusalem Palestinian houses and structures in the Arab cities and towns in Israel are a frequent target for demolition at the same pretext of unlicensed construction as the Israeli authorities make it very difficult for its Arab citizens to obtain building permits.
