Israeli bulldozers on Tuesday demolished a Palestinian home in Silwan town in Occupied Jerusalem under the pretext of building without construction permit.
Local sources reported that the Israeli bulldozers destroyed a two-story building belonging to the family of al-Tawil in al-Abbasiyya neighborhood.
In a related development Israeli occupation forces (IOF) delivered notices ordering the demolition of three houses in addition to an agricultural room and a paved road after storming the Ighzeiwa area in Masafer Yatta to the south of the West Bank city of al-Khalil.
Palestinian activist Usamah Makhamrah said that the Palestinian citizen Ghanem Abu Aram received a notice ordering the demolition of his house which is still under construction.
He added that citizen Talib al-Guneidi received a notice ordering the demolition of his agricultural room while the citizens Mohammed Makhamrah and Zuhair Fansha were notified that their houses will be razed.
The IOF has been escalating its policy of home demolition in Masafer Yatta in addition to the systematic attacks against the farmers and shepherds as a prelude to seizing control of the Palestinian land in favor of the Israeli settlement expansion plans.
