Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured and several vehicles and facilities sustained damage on Tuesday evening when extremist Jewish settlers and soldiers attacked different areas of the West Bank.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that at least 34 Palestinian citizens were injured by bullets stones and tear gas canisters when settlers and soldiers attacked them in different West Bank areas.
Daghlas added that 140 vehicles belonging to West Bankers sustained damage during the Israeli violence including arson attacks on an ambulance and a car belonging to a citizen from Huwara town.
Settlers also carried out attacks on Palestinian citizens and property in the West Bank towns of Turmus Ayya Beit Furik Awarta Huwara Lubban ash-Sharqiya Sawiya Zaatara Yasuf and Deir Sharaf.
They reportedly torched vast tracts of cultivated land scrapyards and a car wash at the main entrance of Lubban ash-Sharqiya town south of Nablus.
In Nablus a medical source said that 30 citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas and received on-site medical assistance.
A child was reportedly rushed to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus after settlers assaulted him near the junction of Salman al-Faresi in Huwara.
Another child was run over and assaulted by a settler near the main entrance of Lubban ash-Sharqiya town.
Settlers also blocked roads and threw rocks at cars in different areas of the West Bank under military protection.
