Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Marzouk has affirmed that the remarkable escalation of resistance operations in the West Bank reflects that there is a solid Palestinian will capable of draining the Israeli occupation state.
In press remarks on Wednesday Abu Marzouk said that the resistance targets Israeli soldiers and settlers in response to their crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Hamas official also said that yesterday’s shooting operation in northern Ramallah was accurate and reflected a high level of audacity and courage describing it as a “model for other youths to follow.”
He added that the operation was a fast response to the Israeli occupation forces’ crimes in Jenin and the assaults on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque.
Two Palestinian resistance fighters were martyred on Tuesday after they carried out a shooting operation that killed four Jewish settlers and wounded four more near the illegal settlement of Eli in the occupied West Bank.
