Hordes of Jewish settlers carried out on Saturday renewed attacks on Palestinian citizens and property in the villages of Mughayyir and Umm Safa in Ramallah under military protection.
According to local sources settlers assaulted a number of citizens and demolished six residential tents while Israeli soldiers who protected them arrested three citizens in Mughayyir village east of Ramallah.
The sources said that a number of villagers were injured including an 80-year-old man in the settler attack.
Meanwhile other group of settlers escorted by soldiers attacked Umm Safa village in the northwest of Ramallah.
They reportedly set fire to some homes and fields and opened fire at property local residents and journalists working for Palestine satellite channel.
One camera and broadcasting equipment were damaged when settlers fired live ammunition at the Palestine TV journalists.
The settlers also killed a horse belonging to a local resident and hurled rocks at a Palestinian ambulance damaging it and injuring its driver.
