Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem has stressed that the Israeli government’s recent announcement to establish a settlement in the Lower Galilee constitutes a serious escalation in the Israeli Judaization policy.
In a press statement on Sunday Qassem said that Israel and its Jewish settlers are waging an open war against the Palestinian existence by forcibly expelling Palestinian citizens from their houses.
Earlier today the Israeli government approved the construction of a Jewish-only settlement in the Lower Galilee calling it Ramat Arbel settlement.
Housing and Construction Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf had announced that a new Jewish-only settlement would be established in the Lower Galilee where 500 Jewish families are to be settled.
