A general strike has been observed Tuesday across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in solidarity with Jenin and in mourning for the Palestinian citizens who were massacred in the ongoing Israeli aggression.
Businesses schools and different facilities observed the strike and shut down their doors in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The general strike was called for by the Palestinian factions and their coordination committee.
The factions’ coordination committee also called for rallying at the Bab az-Zaqaq junction in Bethlehem at 12:00 o’clock in the afternoon to support their compatriots in Jenin.
The strike has taken place following a heated night of angry marches and rallies in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
More protests and confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces are expected today as the Israeli military aggression against Jenin continues in full force for the second day.
