Tuesday 4-July-2023

At least eight Israelis were injured some in critical condition after a Palestinian resistance fighter carried out a car-ramming and stabbing operation in Tel Aviv on Tuesday afternoon.

The resistance fighter who was identified as 20-year-old Abdul-Wahhab Khalayleh from al-Samu town in al-Khalil was shot dead by an armed pedestrian on the scene.

According to the Hebrew media a Palestinian car driver rammed into pedestrians near a Tel Aviv shopping center and then got out of the vehicle to stab others before being shot dead.

The operation came as Israeli forces continued its military aggression in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin for a second day — one day after they killed at least 10 Palestinians between the ages of 16 and 23 and injured at least 100 others.

In this regard the Hamas Movement mourned martyr Abdul-Wahhab Khalayleh and applauded his operation in Tel Aviv describing it as a “legitimate act of self-defense against the ongoing Israeli massacre in Jenin and the crimes of displacement killing and destruction that are committed systematically by Israeli forces.”

In a statement Hamas affirmed that the Palestinian people would continue their resistance against the Israeli occupation escalate it diversify its means and expand its area to avenge the martyrs’ blood and defend the Aqsa Mosque against Judaization plots.

For his part Hamas spokesman Mohamed Hamada described the Tel Aviv operation and the resistance’s ambushes in Jenin as “part of a natural response to the ongoing Israeli massacre in Jenin.”

“The occupation should get ready to count its dead and injured because our people’s blood is not cheap” the spokesman added.
