Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured on Tuesday after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked two Jenin hospitals.
IOF soldiers fired tear gas bombs at Palestinian families medical crews and journalists who were in Jenin Governmental Hospital and Ibn Sina Hospital causing breathing problems to the citizens.
In a press statement on Tuesday the Director General of the Palestinian Health Ministry in Jenin Wissam Sbeihat said that all the hospitals of Jenin City formed a crisis cell to continue providing medical care services during the ongoing Israeli attack.
Sbeihat reiterated the medical crews’ readiness to deal with recurring injuries despite the restrictions imposed by the IOF to hinder their work.
Meanwhile 120 Palestinians were rounded up in Jenin as the IOF launched an arrest campaign during its military aggression that continued for the second day in a row.
Moreover the Israeli air attacks caused massive destruction to many Palestinian houses vehicles and streets according to local sources.
“The Israeli attack in Jenin City and its refugee camp systematically and deliberately targets unarmed Palestinian citizens” lawyer Raji Surani director of the Palestinian Center for Human Rights stressed.
He labeled the Israeli targeting of unarmed citizens as a war crime calling on the International Criminal Court to act urgently in order to prosecute the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.
The IOF had also destroyed electricity and water networks during its ongoing massive attack on Jenin refugee camp where more than 16000 people live according to the UNRWA.
Ten Palestinian citizens including four children have been martyred while 100 others have been injured since the beginning of the Israeli attack on Jenin that started at dawn Monday according to the Palestinian ministry of health.
