The Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef is set to be released from Israeli jails on Sunday 9th of July 2023.
The family of Sheikh Yousef is organizing a reception party for him in a hall in Beitunia town in Ramallah after his release.
Israeli occupation forces arrested Sheikh Yousef in December 2021 after storming his house in Beitunia town.
Sheikh Yousef was arrested 20 times and spent 24 years in Israeli prisons. His first arrest was in 1971 when he was 16 years old.
His second arrest came in the early nineties and ended with his forced banishment to the Marj al-Zuhour in southern Lebanon along with 417 Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders.
