Israeli police shot a Palestinian woman on Sunday evening claiming that she attempted to carry out a stabbing attack near the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.
Hebrew Channel Twelve said that the Palestinian woman was injured after Israeli police officers fired live bullets at her after she tried to carry out a stabbing attack in Jerusalem Light Rail.
Pictures posted on Hebrew media showed that the Palestinian woman was injured and handcuffed while being violently arrested.
The Asra Media Office identified the woman as Samira Hirbawi adding that the Israeli police rounded up her sons in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.
Last June Palestinian resistance fighters carried out 132 resistance operations 68 of which were in Jenin according to Palestine data center “Mu’ti”.
