The Islamic Christian Authority for Patronizing Jerusalem and Holy Sites has denounced the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) for appropriating the house of the Sob Laban family in the Old City of Jerusalem and giving it to Jewish settlers on Tuesday.
In a statement on Wednesday the Islamic Christian Authority said that such a measure against the Sob Laban family vindicated further that the occupation state escalated its ethnic cleaning policy against the Palestinians describing it as a &ldquocrime against humanity.&rdquo
The Islamic Christian Authority affirmed that the Jerusalemites are exposed to a &ldquofrenzied terrorist attack&rdquo aimed at forcing them to leave their city and planting settler outposts in their neighborhoods.
&ldquoThe appropriation of Jerusalemites&rsquo houses happens concurrently with a dangerous escalation in the policy of home demolitions. The first half of this year has seen the demolition of 127 homes and structures in Jerusalem which is the highest number since 2018&rdquo the Jerusalemite organization said.
It appealed to the international community to take urgent action in accordance with its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to curb Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people and work seriously to provide international protection for the vulnerable Palestinian citizens.
