The Jerusalemite Commission against Judaization has said that the Israeli occupation state has been displacing Palestinian citizens and appropriating their homes for decades.
In press remarks on Tuesday head of the Commission Nasser al-Hadmi accused the occupation state of seeking to take over the Old City of Jerusalem which he described as &ldquothe incubator of the Aqsa Mosque&rdquo and expel its native population.
Hadmi explained that the Palestinian homes in the Old City are the closest to the Aqsa Mosque and their residents are considered &ldquothe protectors of Jerusalem.&rdquo
&ldquoThe legal issue of the Sob Laban family had been around for decades but today the occupation state was able to take over their home as part of an ongoing scheme&rdquo the Jerusalemite official pointed out.
&ldquoThe Israeli law is based on racism so the Jerusalemites must prove their real estate ownership with new documents that close all the legal loopholes&rdquo he underlined.
Extremist Jewish settlers seized on Tuesday morning the house of the Sob Laban family in Aqabat al-Khalidiya neighborhood in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem after Israeli police forces stormed it evacuated it from its Palestinian owners and arrested activists who rallied there in solidarity with the family.
