Israeli police arrested four Palestinian citizens on Friday after storming the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.
According to local sources Israeli police arrested the Jerusalemite activist Mohammed Abul Hummus and the Palestinian young man Thaer al-Qawasmi in addition to two other citizens after beating them in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
This came as the Israeli police quelled the weekly rally organized in Sheikh Jarrah in protest at the Israeli plans that aim at the forcible expulsion of the Palestinian native residents of the neighborhood.
Palestinian citizens raised posters and chanted slogans that condemn the Israeli plan to expel the Palestinian native residents in Sheikh Jarrah from their houses in favor of settlement expansion plans.
