A Lebanese MP and a number of journalists were injured on Saturday evening after Israeli soldiers fired teargas bombs at them in the Lebanese southern border areas.
Lebanese sources reported that MP Kassem Hachem and a number of journalists were hurt by the Israeli tear gas bombs adding that the Israeli soldiers forced them to leave the Shebaa Farms area.
The Israeli army said that its forces fired at the journalists claiming that they tried to cross the Blue Line in the area.
Last Tuesday the Lebanese Foreign Ministry called for the complete withdrawal of Israel from the Lebanese territory after Israel had re-occupied the town of Ghajar in southern Lebanon adjacent to the Syrian Golan Heights.
The Blue Line is a demarcation line published by the United Nations in 2000 for the purposes of determining whether Israel had fully withdrawn from Lebanon.
